Chemical peeling is used for skin blemishes, scar, wrinkle, acne and acne scar treatment In an application of chemical peeling, a chemical solution is applied on the skin and it aims to peel the surface layer of the skin in an effort to enhance and smoothen it.
It can be divided into 3 groups : skin-deep, medium and deep. A skin-deep application is performed by weekly sessions. Medium ones performed by at intervals of 1-3 months. After the application, the skin may dry and light moisturizers can be used. The skin must be protected from the sun during the chemical peeling procedure. After the application, the skin has more healthy, brilliant and sparkling appearance. The structure of the skin becomes homogenous.
